James Mary Kelly
Born in Kilkenny 1950. Commenced apprenticeship in 1967 at Kilkenny Design and later at Fachochschüle für Design, West Germany. MBO of Precious Metal section of Kilkenny Design and set up JMK in 1988.

Silver Tabernacle for Tomas O'Fea St. Patricks Cathedral Armagh

Benson and Hedges Irish Masters Snooker (as seen on tv commercials for same)

Candlesticks for Pope John Paul II comm. by Dr. P. Birch, Ossary

Liam MacCarthy All Ireland Senior Hurling Trophy - GAA Croke Park (1982).

Neil Brendan Kelly
Son of James, born 1973. Trained in Grennan Mill, Limerick School of Art and Design, CCOI Jewellery Course. Trained at Hans J. Baier in Constance, Germany.

 

Commenced work with JMK in 1994.

 

 

David Byrne
Born in1969 in Callan Co. Kilkenny. Commenced his apprenticeship with Kilkenny Design in 1987. Joined JMK in 1993.
